Sports Photography & Mother’s Day

Sports Photography & Mother’s Day

So my weekend was fast-paced and over before I knew it…..again!!  Saturday meant 9:00 am T-Ball for my step-son, Brandon.  While this is not exactly my favorite past time, I took my camera and made the best of it by practicing my action photography which ended up making the time actually enjoyable for me and gave us some great pics of Brandon to add to our ever growing collection, which in this day and age is much easier to do.  Chris and I have actually been discussing recently how many pictures we DON’T have of our lives, specifically childhood.  Kids these days have the great fortune of digital everything, which means their memories will be captured in far more detail than ours ever was.  Here’s one for the books for Brandon:

Sunday was, of course, Mother’s Day.  For my family that means BBQ…..nothing fancy, just some burgers and dogs and sitting on the patio.  Fortunately the weather cooperated and we enjoyed a beautiful evening outside relaxing.

With all that great weather this weekend, some riding would have been nice, but was not in the books…..hopefully next weekend!  And now here we are back at Monday…..enjoy your week!

    • Thank you! I enjoy trying to capture “the moment” and the challenges of it.
